Responsibilities: Mainstream DTWS Development and Sustaining Product Manager
Global:
Product development management for the Z1 and Z2 products throughout - from POR to EOL in collaboration with Z1 and Z2 Planning/NPI Product Managers
Manages the original development process, the number and timing of refreshes; defines the scope with consideration of the commodity trend/transition, business need as well as regional deal requirement…etc.
Leads conversation with engineering team, and drives conclusions to meet the business requirement for regions
Analyze & provide recommendations of the choice points happened during the product sustaining stage, including cost changes, certification updates, extension requests, platform transitions…etc
Leads product management deliverables development (e.g. DCRs, Quick Specs, Data Sheets)
Regional:
• Collaboration with Z1 and Z2 product managers and GBU transition team to plan for platform EOL, and manage through the platform transition
• Define/communicate the scope of refreshes with regional teams, and execute through the refresh RTP
• Influence appropriate third parties to enhance solutions capabilities.
• Determine appropriate ongoing pricing in support of established pricing strategy.
• Work with sales and manufacturing, to lead the PSS Family obsolescence process for the region.
Education and Experience Required:
•3~5 years of solid experience in product or program management roles
•4+ year experience in product marketing fundamentals.
•Prefer having NB or Desktop products background
•Fluent in English
•Highly knowledgeable of product/solution family and the business needs of the target customers.
•Demonstrated knowledge of general marketing function either through education or work experience.
