【Responsibilities】
• Responsible for managing and oversight the listed Active ETFs. Meet the KPI of each Active ETF
• Maintains existing and generates new quantitative models’ ideas for Taiwan Active ETFs product
• Managing the ongoing product management to ensure the ETF product suite remains competitive, is properly positioned to address commercial growth opportunities, and in compliance with latest regulations
• Leading the Active ETF team and coordinating the strategic roadmap for Active ETFs and working with product team for the design, development, launch the new product
• Make sure investment operations and processes comply with Taiwan local and internal control regulations
• Covers and support Active ETF business development activities
• Acts as the interface between the investment team and the local sales and marketing entities; supports the business development activities of Active ETFs
• Customizes and distributes product information with a focus on the investment idea, performance explanation, portfolio holdings and illustration of the investment case, according to the needs of the local sales teams
• Builds an effective communication channel with the capital market team to facilitate interactions with participant dealers and market makers
• Keeping up to date with major developments in the Active ETFs industry (i.e. regulations, competition) that create new opportunities or challenges to our business
【Requirements】
• Over 10 years’ professional experience in financial industry
• Over 5 years’ experience managing a Taiwan domiciled listed ETF
• In-depth knowledge of the ETF industry, client channels, capital markets, vehicle mechanics and infrastructure requirements through previous experience in ETF product management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex model and strategies concepts in simple terms. Strong written and verbal command of English and Mandarin Chinese
• Strong project management and ability to work effectively with others across all levels and functions
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
• Quantitative model skills including model development, financial modeling, data analysis, back testing, and risk management. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or B-Quant; maintain inhouse database; data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Intellectual and cultural curiosity; interest in quantitative model innovation and change CFA, CIIA or CSIA qualification desired
