NIKE, Inc.’s Product Integrity organization’s mission is to create a robust color& material manufacturing quality management offense to ensure material performance and aesthetics consistently meet the demands of Nike Athletes*.
As a Yarn Materials Quality MFG LEAD, you will drive the development and integration of the materials and color quality MFG strategy and operating model across Footwear, Apparel, Accessories, and the Nike supplier base. You will have a close connection to process and partners across multiple business units, product engines, functions. Strong partnerships with external partners and driving partners to elevate their manufacturing quality capability with Nike expectations.

-Provides material quality expertise to category teams & suppliers to ensure potential risks are identified and prevented at the design stage and provides input based on quality data analyses, supplier capabilities and performance history.
-Reviews manufacturing plans to ensure manufacturing processes are capable of meeting specification and tolerance requirement consistently.
-Provides support to suppliers &PMOs where necessary for new supplier evaluations and suppliers visits for training, problem solving, corrective action, and follow-up.
-Apply technical knowledge and skills in materials development and production manufacturing to conduct comprehensive assessment & analysis of end-to-end
-Materials; determine foundational competencies across production quality operations.
-Issue management, root cause analysis, issue resolution, improvement action planning& execution and communication with internal and external partners.
【WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH】
You will report into the color &material MFG Team within Product Integrity. This role will collaborate with our partners with Material Supply Chain, Product development, Manufacturing System Engineering, Material Vendors and Factories.

【工作條件】
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Material (polymer) &Textile Science or related materials engineering field or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
-Knowledge of yarn& textile manufacturing, dyeing, finishing, printing, testing and industry material trends.
-Minimum of 7 years in Yarn materials in Apparel or Footwear industry.
-Strong technical materials knowledge, including fibers, yarns, knits, woven, print techniques and its manufacturing processes plus materials testing/inspection procedure.
-Strong analytical skill and able to work with numbers and trends.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
-Strong project and time management skills; commitment to delivering results on time.
-Ability to work independently, proactive, self-motivated, positive work attitude, attention to detail, organized, strong sense of responsibility.
-Comfortable engaging with both external partners and internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, and building strong partnerships.
-Understanding of computers as a tool for report, research, and communication.
-Good at Power Point & Excel is important.
-Experience leading and inspiring a team of direct reports preferred.
-Occasional travelling is required.
